Last night I got the privilege of striding across that stage once again. This time it was in the classic black robe with my goofy hat and I couldn't have been happier! With the edition of a gorgeous diamond necklace that my parents gave me, I'm such a magpie, sparklies make me very happy! :) Last night I had all my family there and we enjoyed a very quick ceremony (about an hour) and then a nice champagne reception, which was pretty fun. Then we went to the Cowboy to party a little bit more. Lots of people made it difficult to dance much but we all had a good time. After dropping the guys off at the Hotel us girls came back to my place and had a gab session until 2:30 in the am, Good fun!,  but I did learn that lack of sleep and plastic coffee cans do not mix well!!! It will be one of those blunders forever immortalized, I fear. Hee Hee  I guess we all have those!!

 So Anyways, One more degree down one more to go. I actually feel like I'm finally on the down hill slope, 6 years of college and only 2 1/2 to go...eventually.This next part of my journey is a bit anxiety provoking as I'm such a control freak and like to know what to expect  Wayyy in advance, thats not going to work this time, life has always been 'school' so we will see what path Gods heading me down as each chapter unfolds, I just have to be happy with blind baby steps for a little while.  One major event I get to look forward to this next year as I take time off from school, is planning my wedding. We have settled on the idea of a destination wedding in Hawaii!!  I'm quite excited about this! We will have a Luau reception here in my Moms gardens in Wyoming when we get back so i get the best of both worlds! This is so important to me because as far back as kinergarten I remember sitting in this one side garden with my mom in the afternoon weaving day lily leaves into mats and talking with my mom that someday I was going to get married right here in the garden (Wedding barbie is probably at fault for my little girl mind already thinking about these details, I was a barbie fanatic!!) But its been a constant dream of mine 20 years later. Wow that makes me sound old!! Anyways I'm happy that its going to come true and it also allows for friends and family that wont be able to make it to Hawaii. Well I've spilled my thoughts out for now so its time for a nap.  Aloha!!! :)

Wow what a busy 2 weeks I have left of school!! Things have been pretty crazy for me, First off, Gary and I are engaged, which is a wonderful feeling! We have dated for 4 years ( on Dec. 5th) and its something we have been seriously talking about for awhile now. I have already gotten an email from his grandma and a pretty card from his sister welcoming me to the family, it feels good to be accepted and know that i have the oppurtunity to get to know these people even more in the comming years!

The other great thing was the Thanksgiving weekend! I havent gotten to go home since coming back to college this september (which is unusual for me, Ive usually had 1 or 2 trips home by now). I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with my parents and have a relaxing time at home before the Finals rush that started yesterday. My mom also got a new little yellow lab puppy for her Anniversary presant! So full of energy and into everything but she is really cute. Speaking of my parents annaversay tomarrow they will have been married for 28 years!  I find that Amazing and hope that Gary and I will have the love and determination to be together for that long and more!

Well off to class with me, Just had to blog a bit and get the excitiment out of my head! :)
